Denver's premier tiki destination transforms into a haunted oasis for five weeks of Halloween mischief

DENVER (September 22, 2026)— Adrift Tiki Bar (218 S Broadway, Denver, CO 80209) is trading palm trees for pumpkins once again this fall with the return of "Nightmare in Paradise," a spine-tingling Halloween takeover running from September 29 through October 31. For five weeks, Denver's beloved tropical escape will transform into the ultimate destination for Halloween enthusiasts, featuring ghoulish decorations, a Creepy Cocktail menu, and a lineup of bewitching events that blend island vibes with Halloween magic.

Adrift's talented bar team has curated an otherworldly menu of Creepy Cocktails that blend tropical flavors with Halloween fright.

  • Hollywood Demon (nut allergy): Lime, falernum, grenadine, Angostura bitters, absinthe, Planteray OFTD and Sihhenge Pineapple rum. Hailing from McCadden Place in Los Angeles, this demonic potion is strong enough to possess you.

  • Dead by 9: Lemon, pineapple, maple, sherry, vanilla, Angostura bitters, Appleton 8 yr Rum, and Laird's Apple Brandy. You won't live to hear the bell toll with this one.

  • Last Nail in the Coffin: Drambuie, bitters, Compass Box Orchard House Scotch, and Appleton 12 yr Rum. This rusty nail may just be the one to seal your fate.

  • Husband Killer: Lime, orange, Amaro Montenegro, cinnamon, anise, bitters, Arette Reposado Tequila, Cardenxe Sotol, and Illegal Mezcal. Till death do you part? This one may expedite the process, ladies.

  • Frog's Breath (nut allergy): Lime, basil, pineapple, falernum, Faccia Brutto Centerbe, Don Q Cristal, and Worthy Park Overproof rums. A swampy spell in a glass — looks of poison, tastes of paradise!

  • Purple People Eater: Frozen with pineapple, coconut, vodka, maraschino, and ube. Watch out — it's the one-eyed, one-horned, flying Purple People Eater!

For a crowd, raise this ghostly chalice:

  • Premature Burial (serves 2, 4, or 8): Lemon, absinthe, Peychaud's bitters, and Sazerac Rye Whiskey. This punch bowl will put you and your friends six feet under.

Low ABV:

  • Purgatory Punch: Lime, allspice, Angostura bitters, and sweet Madeira wine. Stuck waiting between two worlds, you'd hope there'd be drinks.

Non-Alcoholic but ever more terrifying:

  • Dr. Jeckel (N/A, nut allergy): Lime, grapefruit, apple, cinnamon, and N/A falernum syrup. This refreshing non-alcoholic elixir may just turn you into Mr. Hyde!
