LONGMONT, CO.— The Colorado Brewers Guild and the Left Hand Brewing Foundation, collaborators of the Colorado Strong Fund, are thrilled to announce the participating breweries of a state-wide effort that will support Colorado craft breweries and supplies while also raising funds for healthcare, hospitality, service industry and gig economy workers impacted by COVID-19.

“Since the launch of the Colorado Strong fund, we’ve had more than 125 breweries across the state sign up to brew Colorado Strong Pale Ale,” says Eric Kean, Executive Director of the Left Hand Brewing Foundation. “That’s more than 25% percent of breweries in Colorado, which shows how this amazing industry continues to show up not only for themselves but for their surrounding communities as well.”

Brewing for Colorado Strong Pale Ale started earlier this month, and consumers can find the beer at participating brewery locations this week. The full list of breweries selling Colorado Strong Pale Ale, as well as their tentative release dates, can be found at Coloradostrongbeer.org.

Colorado Strong Pale Ale is a beer made entirely with Colorado ingredients and by Colorado breweries. This crisp and refreshing Pale Ale boasts Cascade hops grown in the Front Range and award-winning malts from Root Shoot Malting to provide a well-balanced beer with ample notes of fresh citrus. 20 percent of sales from Colorado Strong Pale Ale will be donated to the Colorado Strong fund.

“By purchasing this beer, consumers not only support their local small independent breweries but also those impacted by COVID-19. You can also support the industry by buying a Colorado Strong t-shirt from the website,” says Shawnee Adelson, Executive Director of the Colorado Brewers Guild.

The Left Hand Brewing Foundation will provide all ingredients to participating breweries free of charge and pay each of the suppliers for their products. The beer’s recipe is a collaboration between Left Hand Brewing Foundation Treasurer and Great American Beer Fest award-winning homebrewer Mark Boelman, Root Shoot Malting, and Colorado Hop Company
