Boulder Creek Festival’s Creekside Beer Fest Tickets On Sale Now

Plus festival organizers announce music headlines and new experiences

GOLDEN, Colo. (April 4, 2024) - The City of Boulder and Team Player Productions (TPP) have announced the headliners and live music lineup for the 35th Annual Boulder Creek Festival® on May 24-27, 2024. The Memorial Day weekend event welcomes free concerts with more than 30 bands across multiple stages, more than 20 breweries and beverage makers at Creekside Beer Fest, an artisan marketplace with 200+ vendors, dozens of tasty eats from local restaurants and food trucks, a skate park activation, free family-friendly entertainment, and new this year – a roller skating rink.

“We continue to elevate Boulder Creek Festival by providing a greater variety of food options, establishing partnerships with local nonprofits, performers and businesses, and expanding the craft beer festival to highlight the best breweries in the region. We’ve also been developing more interactive programming for children without compromising the communal spirit that is Boulder Creek Fest,” says Boulder Creek Festival Event Director Ryan Slater. 

Sonic fusion rock band Steely Dead headlines the Friday night kickoff show at the Bandshell Stage, followed by a weekend of live music including a singer-songwriter showcase on the Community Stage on Monday, May 27. Soak up the sun at Creekside Beer Fest where 20+ breweries and beverage makers pour their best suds. Tickets for the all-inclusive tasting are on sale now.

Festival organizers announced the return of summer with Boulder Creek Festival in March. Newly announced features for the fest include:

  • Music headliners and musical acts: Steely Dead kicks off weekend performances with more than 30 artists, including a Boulder Sound Machine showcase of Boulder’s best musicians. Other headliners include The Pamlico Sound on Saturday and Tenth Mountain Division on Sunday. New this year—Boulder Creek Festival has teamed up with Roots Music Project  on the Community Stage to present a singer songwriter showcase on Monday, May 27.

  • Creekside Beer Fest: Enjoy delicious brews from more than 20 Colorado breweries on May 25 and 26. The fantastic lineup of breweries include Asher Brewing Co., Busey Brews, FlyteCo Brewing, Ratio Beerworks, and many more. Tickets for the four sessions are on sale now.   • Pop-up Roller Rink: New this year and in partnership with Freewheel Limited, enjoy a roller rink pop-up at the Teahouse Plaza from Saturday night after the Farmer’s Market through Monday, May 27. Skating costs $15 per hour for those with skates or $20 for those who need to rent skates. Music, food and a bar will be nearby this nostalgic activation!

  • Creekside for Kids: Enjoy a fun-filled weekend for the entire family with interactive performances from Jeff & Paige, Dino Disco Family Dance Party, Anima Arts Dance and Giant Parachute activations. Plus, explore face painting, rides and much more. Check out the schedule.

  • Street Wise Arts Battle Live Painting: Located at the Boulder Creek Festival Art Zone, this partnership with Street Wise Arts includes 10 artists that have been hand-selected to participate in an epic painting competition. Stop by and vote for your favorite artist Saturday and Sunday and watch them work on their masterpieces. Art collectors can also bid in a public auction to take home a custom painted adirondack chair where proceeds go to Street Wise Arts

  • Free skate demos: Enjoy free lessons in the Boulder Public Library’s parking lot in partnership with Square State Skate all weekend. Bash at the Banks on May 26 will be bigger and better this year as 303 Board Shop will be bringing out their pros to take over 13th Street.

The Boulder Creek Festival takes place along the Boulder Creek from 9th Street to 14th Street between Canyon Boulevard and Arapahoe Avenue. Volunteer, sponsor and vendor opportunities are still available through the website
