Kick off Summer Fun with the Boulder Creek Festival® over Memorial Day Weekend

The 35th annual community event to draw over 100,000 attendees for three days of food, live music, entertainment, and family fun

GOLDEN, Colo. (March 4, 2023) - The City of Boulder and Team Player Productions (TPP) have announced the return of Boulder Creek Festival® May 24-27, 2024. The 35th annual Boulder community event, which drew over 100,000 attendees last year, returns to downtown Boulder over Memorial Day weekend for a three-day celebration. Festivities include a free Friday night kickoff concert with headliner Steely Dead on May 24, followed by three days of live music from more than 30 bands, a farmers market-style shopping experience with over 200 artisans and local businesses, delicious eats from 20+ food trucks and vendors, a skate park activation, family-friendly fun, and more to be announced.

“Boulder Creek Festival is the unrivaled destination to welcome summer on the Front Range,” says Boulder Creek Festival Event Director Ryan Slater. “We have an affordable all-inclusive beer festival, dozens of free live music acts, some of the region's best artists, and an entire kids lineup. Boulder Creek Fest is fun for those that age 1 to 100!"

Enjoy the following activities at Boulder Creek Festival:

  • Creekside Beer Fest: More than 20 breweries including Avery Brewing Co, Upslope Brewery, and Ratio Beerworks, will be pouring their best suds at this all-inclusive tasting May 25 and 26. Tickets for the beer fest will launch in April.

  • Creekside for Kids: Enjoy concerts for kids of all ages by Jeff & Paige, interactive performances, games, attractions, and much more.

  • Live music: More than 30 musical artists, from folk rock to funk and soul, will be playing throughout the weekend. Full lineup to be announced in April.

  • Street Wise Art Battle: Located at the Boulder Creek Festival Art Zone, this partnership with Street Wise Arts includes 10 artists that have been hand-selected to participate in an epic painting competition. Their works of art will be displayed in Boulder throughout the year. Stop by and vote for your favorite artist and watch them work on their masterpieces. The first-place winner will receive a cash prize.

  • Local eats: From vegan and vegetarian to international cuisine and carnival favorites, more than 20 tasty food trucks and vendors will be serving up delectable eats.

  • Free skate demos: Enjoy free lessons in the Boulder Public Library’s parking lot in partnership with Square State Skate all weekend. On Sunday, 303 Board Shop will be bringing out their pros to take over 13th Street for a Bash at the Banks Skate Jam event.

The Boulder Creek Festival takes place along the Boulder Creek from 9th Street to 14th Street between Canyon Boulevard and Arapahoe Avenue. Artist, volunteer, sponsor and vendor opportunities are still available through the website
