Boulder Creek Festival Announces Memorial Day Weekend Music Headliners, New Festival Features; Plus Creekside Beer Fest Tickets On Sale Now

GOLDEN, Colo. (April 6, 2023) - The City of Boulder and Team Player Productions (TPP) have unveiled the headliners and live music lineup for Boulder Creek Festival® May 26-29, 2023. The 34th annual Boulder community event, which drew over 100,000 attendees last year, welcomes more than 30 bands over Memorial Day weekend.

Back by popular demand, Deadphish Orchestra headlines the Friday kickoff show, followed by a weekend of steller musical acts from karate funk to world jam and tribal fusion. Quench your thirst and take in scenes of Boulder Creek at Creekside Beer Fest where 20+ breweries pour their latest and greatest. Tickets for the all-inclusive tasting are on sale now.

"The Boulder Creek Festival is more than just an event - it's a tradition that brings our community together,” says City of Boulder Events Manager Justin Greenstein. “We're excited to once again showcase hundreds of local artists, businesses, and musicians. With over thirty bands playing across multiple stages, there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy.”

Festival organizers announced the return of summer with Boulder Creek Festival last March. Newly announced features for the fest include:

  • Music headliners and musical acts: Deadphish Orchestra kicks off more than 30 artist showcases throughout the weekend on Friday night. Other headliners include TIERRO Band with Bridget Law which features founding members of Elephant Revival, Kan'Nal, and Jyemo Club, as well as Charles Parker Mertens on bass (Thievery Corporation, Rapidgrass) and Nabin Shrestha, Rocket Parade, and Tenth Mountain Division, a revival of soul, spirit and eclectic influences for the modern ear.   • Creekside Beer Fest: Enjoy delicious brews from more than 20 breweries on May 27 and 28. The fantastic lineup of breweries include Avery Brewing Company, FlyteCo Brewing, Ratio Beerworks, Upslope Brewing Company, and many more. Tickets for the four sessions are on sale now.   • Creekside for Kids: Enjoy a jam packed weekend of family fun including concerts for kids, interactive performances from Jeff & Paige, games, attractions like rides, bounce houses, and much more!

  • Local Eats: More than 30 vendors will be showcasing foods from around the world including Brazilian cheese bread, handmade steamed buns and dumplings, lobster rolls, and much more. View the delectable lineup of food stalls here

  • Free skate demos and lessons in the library’s parking lot in partnership Square State Skate all weekend. On Sunday 303 Board Shop will take over 13th Street for a pro-am skate demo and jam.

  • Makers Market: Whether you’re looking for artisan foods and baked goods, crystals and jewelry, or skincare from local businesses, shop from more than 200 local businesses and creators at this farmer’s market-style fair.

The Boulder Creek Festival takes place along the Boulder Creek from 9th Street to 14th Street between Canyon Boulevard and Arapahoe Avenue. Volunteer, sponsor and vendor opportunities are still available through the website
